All we need to do is show up \u2013 everything else is taken care of. And if you can believe it, it can get even better than that. These tours come in a number of different \u2018shapes and sizes\u2019 so to say, so that there\u2019d be numerous options that fit our interests, and each of these is carefully crafted to give us travelers the best experience.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Boat and Bike: Germany, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria<\/h2>\n<p>Imagine <a href=\"\/cruises\/\">a boat and bike tour<\/a> through Europe. We can have it! Let\u2019s board our ship on the enchanting <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Danube\">Danube River<\/a>, and let it take us from one country to the next so we can cycle in a new, amazing place every day. We start from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Passau\">Passau\u2019s<\/a> cobblestone Old Town, and the next day, we ride through the Austrian countryside, encountering traditional villages, cider taverns, and markets along the way. We pedal on, to the magnificent <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Schloss_Hof\">Imperial Palace of Hof<\/a>, and further still we go, to the coronation city of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bratislava\">Bratislava<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our amazing ship entertains us, while we dine in full luxury, and the next day, we enter <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Budapest\">Budapest<\/a>, cycling to its famous sites. There\u2019s no end to the most spectacular of landscapes. Now we pedal through the wooded hills of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pilis_Mountains\">Pilis<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Visegr%C3%A1d_Mountains\">Visegr\u00e1d<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/B%C3%B6rzs%C3%B6ny\">B\u00f6rzs\u00f6ny<\/a>, and through the idyllic <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Szentendre\">Szentendre<\/a>, and the baroque village of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/V%C3%A1c\">V\u00e1c<\/a> to the town of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Esztergom\">Esztergom<\/a>, home to a splendid basilica.<\/p>\n<p>Today, <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Vienna\">Vienna<\/a> welcomes us. Let\u2019s hop on our bikes to see its most famous sites and then have some coffee with apple strudel in one of Vienna\u2019s caf\u00e9s. Our last day on this tour is no less special, as we pedal through the Baroque town of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/D%C3%BCrnstein\">D\u00fcrnstein<\/a> and the celebrated <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wachau\">Wachau<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Eastern European Panorama<\/h2>\n<p>This is another truly incredible journey. This <a href=\"\/jewish-heritage-tours\/\">Eastern European tour<\/a> starts in Vienna, and we go from the Hofburg Palace to the Belvedere Palace, seeing numerous phenomenal sites throughout the city. Then we enter Budapest, where we\u2019re welcomed by the Parliament, Royal Palace and the Castle Hill area, among a number of other historic edifices on our itinerary. Our next stop is <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Krak%C3%B3w\">Krak\u00f3w<\/a>, its Wawel Hill, the Royal Castle, the Royal Cathedral, the Main Market Square, Renaissance Cloth Hall, and the St. Mary&#8217;s Church. We make our way to <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Auschwitz_concentration_camp\">the Auschwitz-Birkenau<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now we\u2019re in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cz%C4%99stochowa\">Cz\u0119stochowa<\/a> to visit the Yasna Gora Monastery, known for the \u201cBlack Madonna\u201d, after which we arrive in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Warsaw\">Warsaw<\/a>. Driving along the famous Royal Route and seeing the Castle Square, Lazienki Park and Palace, the Saxon Garden, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument to the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto, are just some of the things we do in this amazing city. The next day, we\u2019re looking at <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Berlin\">Berlin\u2019s<\/a> famous sites such as Reichstag, the Schloss Charlottenburg and Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, and the day after that, we\u2019ve admiring <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prague\">Prague\u2019s<\/a> Royal Castle, the Cathedral of St. Vitus, and the Old Royal Palace, we\u2019re crossing the Charles Bridge and walking through the old quarter of Prague to view the Jewish Ghetto, Town Hall, and the world-famous Astronomical Clock.<\/p>\n<h2>Little Tour of Russia<\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve seen so many countries so far, but one more is needed to complete this unique European experience \u2013 the magnificent Russia. This little tour of Russia starts in Moscow, where the Red Square, the colorful St. Basil&#8217;s Cathedral, the Kremlin, and the impressive Armory Museum are just some of the places that await us. We take a drive to the 14th-century <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sergiyev_Posad\">Sergiev Posad<\/a>, a center of ancient Russian art and architecture and admire the fairytale blue and gold domes of the Holy Trinity Monastery. On we go, to the north bank of the Moskva River, to see the baroque <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Novodevichy_Convent\">Novodevichy Convent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here we are in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Saint_Petersburg\">St. Petersburg<\/a> \u2013 a perfect conclusion to our journey. This charming city has a myriad of places for us to see, such as Nevsky Prospect, Smolny Cathedral, Cruiser Aurora, Field of Mars, the Palace Square, the Winter Palace, the Senate Square, and St. Isaac\u2019s Cathedral. Let\u2019s visit the 1703 Peter and Paul Fortress and the historic Peter and Paul Cathedral. Finally, we go to the world-famous Hermitage, home of more than four million works of art. Also, along the way, we must see the remarkable metro stations in both of these cities.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s truly a private tour out there for everyone, just a mouse click or a phone call away.
